Southend Against The Cuts

A successful photo opportunity was held today at the Civic Centre. Both the Evening Echo and the Yellow Advertiser wanted the story of our campaign. Tim Sneller and Mark Lancaster were interviewed by the Echo.

Watch out for Thursday's Echo and the next issue of the YA. As a free newspaper, the YA should be delivered to all households in Southend.

Demonstration Against Public Service Cuts

Whilst George Osbourn was making his announcement, local trade unionists marched in Southend

Organising to Defeat Cuts in Public Services: a SERTUC rally
